Building on her family’s rich history in the hair care industry, her personal studies in cosmetology, trichology, esthetics, and makeup artistry along with more than 20 years of experience, Kaye uses her respect in the beauty industry as a door opener to encourage, and inspire others. Her passion drives her as a sought after speaker, teacher and mentor.

She has volunteered for several community organizations. In 2008 she became a founding board member of the Rollings Foundation, an organization focusing on poverty in South Africa. The mission of the Rollings Foundation is to meet the health and educational needs of children by supplying daily lunches and school supplies for children, planting vegetable gardens, and digging water wells.  Her work with the Rollings Foundation is one of Kaye's proudest accomplishments.  On a mission trip to South Africa in January 2013 Kaye served in the Foundation’s soup kitchen and spoke at one of the organization’s sponsored orphanages.

In 2010 Kaye entered a partnership with the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) to educate stylists on AIDS awareness and prevention. Her commitment to HIV awareness also involves serving as host for a free annual HIV testing event in a Dallas community heavily affected by the virus.

Baylor University Alumni Association recently recognized Kaye as one a “Distinguished Alumni” for her philanthropic efforts both in her community and abroad.
